DAY BY DAY
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Flight to Marrakech. Reception and installation in a three-star hotel or Riad, near the city center.
Day 2: Marrakech – Tagdilt
Departure via the Tizi n’Tichka and the Kasbahs road; the road climbs up to the pass, at 2,260 meters, passing from a plain landscape to an arid mountain landscape, punctuated by dry-stone villages with flat roofs, terraced crops before falling into the Dades valley, ribbon of greenery bordered by palm groves and dotted with kasbahs (fortresses) and ksour (fortified villages) built in adobe. In Tagdilt, accommodation for the night.
Day 03: Tagdilt – Almou n’ouarg
We go up a path to reach the pass of Ouzerzam 2300 m we gradually sink into the mountain. A canyon to cross, a few trees (giant thuriferous junipers), rock formations, bivouac in Almou n’ouareg 2100m, 5h30mn walk.
Day 04: Almou n’ouarg – Igli
Climb to the top of Kouaouch, the highest point of the circuit, at 2,500 meters. In the distance, the snow-capped peaks of M’Goun. Towards the south, the deserts. All around, deep valleys and jagged peaks, a splendid view of the Saghro massif, a mountain atmosphere, a descent to Igli and its rock formation on the back of a camel 1700m, 5h30 min walk.
Day 05: Igli – Bab n’ali (gate of Ali baba)
we take a path on the side of the left bank of the river to the Col d’Afourer, beautiful view of the valley, descent to the river, then we pass through splendid gorges good opportunity for a swim, bivouac at the site of Bab n’Ali 1550m 5h30 min walk.
Day 06: Bab n’Ali – Ighazoun – Imin tifrite
A stage of meeting with the local population of Aït Atta, leaving Bab n’Ali we meet the shepherds with their nomadic tents and descend into the valley, passing through several villages where we can attend the daily life of the sedentary Ait Atta in its villages built in adobe, night at the Imin Tifrit lodge 1200m 7 hours of walking
Day 7: Nkob – Draa valley – Ouarzazate —- Marrakech
A small walk to discover the Draa valley with its beautiful ksour we visit one of its ksar (Tamnougalt) which plays a very important role at the time or the camel caravan which takes the ksar as a meeting point and barter, then return in Marrakech via Agdz, Ouarzazate, Col de Tichka ,, arrives at the end of the afternoon in Marrakech
Day 08 / Marrakech – departure flight
transfer from hotel to airport, return flight
