A very beautiful route to discover the 3 most beautiful valleys in Morocco: the Ait Bouilli and Aït Bouguemez valley and the Roses valley which occupy the heart of the Central High Atlas. You will also discover the magnificent sites: (natural bridge of Imin Ifri, kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, kasbah of Telouet and the palm grove of Skoura) with incredible colors. It is an uncrowded route that takes us to meet the Berber nomads of the highlands and the people of the valleys. The welcome from this peaceful population is sincere, the hospitality legendary! You add to this an art of stone and adobe architecture and you have a journey rich in warm encounters and unforgettable memories.
Day by Day Program
Day 01 / Marrakech – Demnate —– Ait Bouali— Ait Bouguemez.
Departing from Marrakech early after breakfast, we take the road along the Atlas chain through the plain of El haouz. We reach the small town of Demnate, discovering its typical market. Then we continue to the Natural Bridge of Imi-n-ifri a hike to discover the natural bridge. then by breathtaking scenery. We reach the red villages of Bouali. Visit the rock engravings of Tizi-n-Tirghist Departure of the hike, we cross several Berber villages. Arrived at Agouti village we will be greeted by a Berber family. Night at the gîte. 4 hours of driving and 4 to 5 hours of walking.
Day 2: Aït Bouguemez — The Valley of Roses — Skoura.
We leave this beautiful green valley passing through splendid villages with unique landscapes, a visit to the traces of dinosaurs and old collective granaries.
Panoramic view of the M’Goune mountain range passing through the Tizi-n-aït Imi pass (2910 m) and the Ait Hamed pass (3050 m) in a mountainous and fascinating setting given the contrast of colors.
Lunch at altitude (picnics or with a Berber family, then the descent to the valley of Roses through the gorges of Ameskar. Arrival at the end of the day in the large oasis of Skoura, with these beautiful well-preserved kasbahs.
Night with a family in the palm grove of Skoura. 5 hours drive and 4 to 5 hours walk
Day 3: Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech.
A very rich day more and more, let’s move towards the city of Ouarzazate then the famous Kasbahs of Ait Benhaddou which served as the backdrop for several films … Following the valley of Ounila, one of the most beautiful in the Atlas, we arrive at the Village of Telouet to visit the Kasbah of Pasha Glaoui.
Continue our journey through the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260m),
